Glogster it just makes posters, to which, fair play, you can add sound and video, and lets you show them off to people online. Why that necessitates adding yet another monstrously ugly word like 'Glogster' to the English language I can't imagine ... there are times when I look forward to the blissful release of death.
Weebly This is an easy (and free) way to create a small website ... like this one.
Schoology A "social" networking site to set up groups with one's classes. Quite a lot for free, with some dolling up available for a fee.
Padlet This is a great idea and really easy to use... it's a virtual notice-board for virtual sticky-notes. Once you create a new wall, you have a URL. You send this to anyone whom you wish to contribute to the wall.
bubbl.us This lets you create a neat spider diagram, which you can then export as a jpeg (whilst keeping the original editable version).
Webspiration Similar to the above. This is free, but here is a more flexible version just called Inspiration ... but one has to pay (are they mad?)
Concept Maps and Interactive Tools
Writing/Editing(for any subject)
Typewith.me This is trés cool. As with Padlet (see above) as soon as you open a new document a URL is created, which you then send to whoever you want to join in the collaborative document.
Flockdraw Very similar to typewith.me ... but with pictures.
An "easy to use online whiteboard with all the tools you need to quickly, collaboratively sketch your next big idea and share it with the world" ... it says.
